HYSF MCDC8M is a low-profile 8-pin male dummy plug with tapered PU cap. IP68 rated, 60 MPa tested, dedicated for protecting unused female 8-pin ports on Gigabit-Ethernet ROVs, high-density AUV panels, deepsea switch modules and multi-channel sensor hubs up to 6000m.
The HYSF MCDC8M is a robust 8-core male dummy plug designed to fully seal and protect open female 8-pin receptacles in harsh subsea environments. Its streamlined black polyurethane cap (74 mm total length, Ø15.7 mm max) slides over MCIL8F or MCBH8F ports, creating a complete pressure-tight barrier with no electrical connection.
Molded from abrasion-resistant, UV-stabilized PU with integrated stainless steel tether eye and triple internal O-rings. The 18.5 mm hex grip enables tool-free installation even with gloved hands, while the captive tether eye prevents loss during ROV operations.
Critical for safeguarding high-channel-count ports on Gigabit-Ethernet systems, deepsea camera housings, multi-sensor arrays and battery modules from biofouling and debris. ISO9001-2015 certified with 100 MPa over-pressure validation and 2000-hour salt-spray resistance.
