IP68 rated, 60 MPa tested, dedicated for protecting unused female hybrid photoelectric receptacles in ROVs, sensors, lighting systems and deepsea hybrid applications up to 6000 m.
The HYSF SF40M-HSCM is a dedicated male external thread protective dummy cap that securely seals and protects exposed female hybrid 4-optical + 4-electrical receptacles from seawater intrusion, biofouling and mechanical damage. Its precision-machined body with external thread and integrated O-ring provides a complete pressure-tight mechanical barrier with no electrical or optical connection.
Constructed from high-strength 316L stainless steel with captive threaded locking and knurled grip for easy hand-installation even with gloves.
Essential for maintaining hybrid photoelectric system integrity on female ports when temporarily unmated, preventing contamination in harsh subsea environments. ISO9001-2015 certified with 100 MPa burst rating.
